new shade and tan female french bulldog puppy

Our Story

We’re Scott and Tina Frost, a husband-and-wife team based in the Treasure Valley area of Idaho, just a few minutes from the Snake River.

Animals have always been a huge part of our lives. Scott has had a lifelong connection with animals of all kinds, and they’ve always seemed just as drawn to him as he is to them. Tina’s background includes years of breeding horses and cattle, along with hands-on work in animal rescue and fostering. Over the years, she’s worked with everything from independent rescue efforts to helping foster dogs through a local Pug rescue, with more than a few “foster fails” along the way.

When we brought French Bulldogs into our lives, we fell hard for their personalities. They’re funny, affectionate, expressive little dogs that quickly become part of the family. But after previously loving and owning Pugs, we were also familiar with the health struggles brachycephalic breeds can face. We knew firsthand how heartbreaking it can be to watch a dog struggle with preventable breathing, spinal, or hereditary issues.

That experience shaped the direction of our breeding program from the very beginning.

Through Tina’s background in horse breeding and equine genetics, she had already seen what can happen when breeding decisions are driven too heavily by trends, exaggeration, or appearance alone. Over time, those choices can weaken structure, temperament, functionality, and long-term health. That perspective carries directly into how we approach French Bulldogs today.

Our philosophy is simple: health, structure, temperament, and quality of life come first.

While we absolutely appreciate beautiful dogs, we believe form and color should follow function, not the other way around. We don’t focus on breeding for trends or exclude dogs based on color or pattern alone. Instead, we focus on producing French Bulldogs that are healthy, sound, stable, and able to live happy, functional lives as beloved companions.

We believe it’s possible to have both beauty and soundness when breeding decisions are made thoughtfully and responsibly.

Our Mission

This is a passion project for us. Our goal is to raise French Bulldogs that are not only beautiful, but healthy, confident, and well-prepared for life with their future families.

From the beginning, our puppies are raised in a hands-on, enriched environment with plenty of daily interaction, socialization, and exposure to everyday life. We put a great deal of thought into early development because we believe those first weeks matter.

Health is THE priority in our program. We focus heavily on physical soundness, genetic health, responsible breeding practices, and ongoing health testing so our puppies have the best possible start.

Just as importantly, we care deeply about where our puppies go. We take the time to get to know our puppy families and help make thoughtful matches based on lifestyle, personality, and expectations. French Bulldogs are incredible companions, but they do have specific needs, and we want our buyers to feel informed, prepared, and supported throughout the process.

Why Frost’s Frenchies?

Our commitment to our puppies doesn’t end when they leave our home.

When you bring home a puppy from Frost’s Frenchies, you’re gaining ongoing support from people who genuinely care about the long-term well-being of both our dogs and the families who love them. Whether you have questions about feeding, training, behavior, health, or just want to share updates and photos, we’d love to stay connected. We’re proud of the dogs we raise and the relationships we build along the way, and we’re grateful for every family that trusts us with such an important part of their lives.

If you’d like to learn more about our program or our dogs, we’d love to hear from you.
