Our Story
We’re Scott and Tina Frost, a husband-and-wife team based in the beautiful outskirts of Treasure Valley, Idaho, just minutes from the Snake River. Our journey into breeding began with a shared love of animals and a desire to make a meaningful difference in the lives of French Bulldogs and their families.
Scott has had a lifelong love for animals of all shapes and sizes, and they’ve shared an important role in every chapter of his life. Animals always seem as drawn to his genuine love and compassion as he is to them. Tina’s background brings a wealth of experience, having spent years breeding horses and cattle and working in animal rescue. Her efforts have ranged from independent rescue initiatives, where she “foster failed” many times over the years, to collaborating with a local Pug rescue, helping foster dogs in need.
After welcoming French Bulldogs into our lives, we quickly fell in love with their endearing personalities. However, having previously owned and loved Pugs, another breed prone to similar ailments, we knew the emotional toll of watching a beloved pet struggle with preventable health problems, such as breathing difficulties, spinal issues, and other hereditary conditions.
With her background in horse breeding and equine genetics, Tina witnessed firsthand the detrimental effects of breeding solely to conform to fads, both in and out of the show ring. Over time, she saw how prioritizing exaggerated physical traits over soundness and temperament led to weakened genetics, reduced functionality, and a host of health and temperament issues in many breeds. This experience deeply shaped her perspective as a breeder, instilling a strong belief that form and color should follow function. This philosophy guides everything we do. Rather than focusing on aesthetics, we prioritize health and happiness above all else. We don’t discriminate by color or pattern in our breeding program; instead, we focus on breeding French Bulldogs that are sound in mind and body. Through selective breeding practices, we can have our cake and eat it too.
Our Mission
Our mission is simple: to raise French Bulldog puppies that are not only beautiful but also robust, healthy, and with good dispositions. We believe that a happy and well-nurtured puppy becomes a treasured companion for life. With this in mind, we pour our hearts into every aspect of our breeding program, ensuring that each puppy is given the best start in life. The health and well-being of our French Bulldogs take precedence above all else.
We believe that every puppy deserves a loving, caring home, so we take the time to learn about our adoptive puppy parents and make sure they seem like a good fit for their Frenchie. We want to make sure that our puppies go to families who will love and care for them for the rest of their lives.
We also believe that it is important to educate our puppy buyers about the breed. French bulldogs are wonderful dogs, but they do have some special needs, as all brachycephalic dogs do. We want to make sure that our puppy buyers are prepared to meet those needs.
We work tirelessly to uphold the highest standards in breeding, focusing on genetic diversity, regular health screenings, and preventative care. Our puppies are raised in a loving and enriching environment, ensuring they are well-socialized, confident, and ready to embark on their journey as beloved family members.
